Envelopes are constructed from treated cotton which is made with
the same machines that were used to make tent canvas. Similar
to canvas it will fade and soften with wear. The leather we use
is calf-skin from Italy. Because of its durability its usual use
is for shoes. Any surface marks may be treated with clear shoe
polish. The button is molded nylon, chosen for its strength. For
scratch resistance our rivet is baked enamel.
